Jamaica | Noble House

So where do I begin!!  I will try my best to put into words what this trip was (but the pictures may paint a better picture ).  I will say I have been waiting and counting down for this vacation for some time, its has actually gotten me through some pretty rough days.  I had a very busy spring and summer and to say I was ready for some down time would be an understatement.  We had our good friend Chris Butler ( AKA Bunny Butler, Daddy Warbucks to name a few) arrange and plan the whole thing and I really don’t think he could have chosen any better place for us. So Kudos to you Chris, because I really believe we were meant to be a part of Nobel House.  Starting out my travels I came to the realization that I forgot my contacts home . I was sporting a lovely little stye so had to  wear my glasses and with my foggy brain left them home.  I was so disheartened thinking I would be wearing glasses everyday with all my outfits. See the outfits are a huge part of the trip for me and my girls, but I have a friend who doesn’t come with only one suitcase she travels with two.  While I was frantically texting her in Toronto airport( while I had a break down at Starbucks) she calmed things down for me telling me she may be able to help out. Kari my girl you came through for me, seriously who has a pair of contacts to lend their friend. All I can say is I’m glad we are both blind as bats.  We joked all week about ourselves and feeling like we were a real live sitcom from being the Sex in the City girls every evening to being an episode of friends. ( and figuring out who was who )  As the days rolled on we turned into a combo of Fantasy Island and On Golden Pond. ( any of you younger folk out there may not get that one)

We had so many highlights on this vacation We went on a Bob Marley Tour, relaxed on the seven mile beach, spent the afternoon at Ricks Cafe and watched my friend Kari plummet down into the water ( yay Kari you did it!!) to driving around seeing the locals and how they live.  For me the biggest highlight would have to be just being with the best friends a girl could ask for and feeling like a little girl again without a care or stress in the world.  We had the most amazing staff who treated us like kings and queens. We quickly formed a bond with these beautiful people and its them who make Noble House what it is!  So thank you staff of Noble House for making our stay all the more memorable.  The last set of pics below shows our emotional departure, they were in tears as were most of us.  Now that I am back home and I sort through my photos it makes me realize that one thing since I have become a photographer is that I really miss documenting my life!   I get so busy with work that I forget how precious life really is and pictures are so important!  I say this to my clients all the time  photos become more priceless with time.  So glad I could preserve some more beautiful memories to put in my album of life.  I want to thank all of my peeps personally to Chris well if it wasn’t for your research and travel planning skills we would not have found Noble House.  To Bobby so glad you jumped through hoops all week for us, you kept us in stitches the entire time with your entertainment skills, thanks for keeping us laughing.  To Alma what can I say you and I have been sister travellers for some time and wouldn’t want to do it without you we have been planning outfits and shopping for months. oh and of course can’t forget that you are like my mom on vacation.  To Kari you and I go back further than any of us ( Us New Waterford girls) I am blessed to have you as my friend you always got my back and I found out travelling with two best friends is way better than just one! yes I tend to always be the one who needs looking after on vacation so thanks Mammy!   To Tony the one who walks by my side through life Thank you for always making me feel pretty and oh so loved!! I remember when our kids were babies and we would sit down and talk about days like this!  Now here we are doing exactly what we used to dream about!  I love you all and I am sorry if that got a bit too mushy but you guys all know me!  I’m all heart with everything I do in life.  I just usually don’t post this side of myself for the world to see!  Jamaica we will be back!!
