A Cozy Christmas Tree Farm Engagement Session

With Christmas right around the corner, and a burning desire to start blogging again…I thought it was only appropriate to share this recent Engagement Session with these two love birds. I know both Janel and I were secretly waiting for a light, pretty snowfall but let’s be real, when you live in Cape Breton you can never get your hopes up on the weather. You just have to take it as it comes, so whether you are planning for a sunset engagement or a soft winter snowfall, just expect the complete opposite!

I always LOVE hearing how couples met, each story is unique in it’s own way and these two sweet hearts first met just three years ago at their friend’s wedding! This friend just so happened to be a back to back brides maid for a couple of my 2015 brides (small world). I just love how everyone is connected on this little island. Janel said her friend had been telling her about this Brad guy for a while, and when they finally met at the wedding the rest was history. I believe the greatest love stories are always short and sweet, because most people I come across say they genuinely knew they met their husband/wife, the first time they met! I often expect these big elaborate stories, but often it’s a one sentence, happily ever after.

I can’t wait to celebrate with these two next July 🙂
