My Family

So here is a look into my family session this summer.. What is it about family photos, always a wee bit of drama to take place.. trying to pull this off was not an easy task to see the least.  Then to pull it off in a minuscule amount of time was even more difficult.. ( was a wonderful reminder on why I don’t do large family groups).  So I know what goes on behind the scenes before families even get to me.. always someone who doesn’t want to be in front of the camera, or someone who wants to have the session done in 20 mins.. or why cant we just do in in the afternoon. So many factors that need to play into a family portrait.. I also am a firm believer that there is no such thing as picture perfect poses.. We are REAL families who are not perfect.. I say keep your expectations real.. and you will always be happier in the end.. So yea my lil rant!!  Words that could not be more true.. and yes I even quoted this to my family the nite of our family session.. ” you will never regret having it done but you will regret not having it done”.  Someday that family photo may end up being your most treasured possession..
