30 Days of Hind Hart | Baby Love by Michelle | Day 8

So this is the one blog you see me post often as babies have fast become my thing!  But really they have always been my thing I will take us back to when I was a young girl and was fixated on my baby dolls.  I would dress them in their finest and pop them into one of my many doll strollers or prams and take a walk to  Wool-worth’s lunch counter for a chocolate dipped donut and a pepsi.  Then came the Cabbage Patch doll craze in the 80’s this is when the photographer in me made its first appearance as I dressed and posed my dolls for the camera, my camera being my dad’s first polaroid.  Photos I do still have and really must dig out.  I went from my dolls to finally becoming a big sister after years of wanting a baby sister!  and within 2 years I had 2 of them so of course I was over the moon to have 2 real dolls to dress up and play with!  Then finally having my own babies which was like something I had always known.  Those years now sadly behind me, as you don’t realize going through that part of your life how quickly time passes us by.  I can still hear the words of my mother saying ” these are the best years of your life and you don’t even realize it” Yes ma you were so very right!  So being called the baby whisperer which I have been called by from numerous clients really just all makes sense to me now.

So Back to the little sweetie I am blogging Mr. Milo ( don’t you just love his name) he’s the newborn son of Sherri Poirer of Peartree Photography.  Sherri and I met a few years ago when she had me photograph her beautiful family.  I instantly thought I really like this girl, even though I was secretly pretty nervous to be photographing another photographers family.  I will say I am so very glad we got the chance to meet and someone I can chat to about  photography with, but more important than that she has become a wonderful friend.  So of course I was thrilled to give her the priceless gift of newborn photos.  There is not a newborn shoot I do that I don’t think what I would give to have had this of my children when they were brand new. ( but I do have a grandchild coming soon ) Sherri and Adam now have their millionaire family!!  and I love that I get to give them precious moments!
