There is something so very relaxed and real about lifestyle sessions.  There is no lets look at the camera and smile, instead we are in the comforts of their own homes able to be themselves.  As with all photo sessions there is always a certain amount of nerves or rather uncertainty and not sure what to expect.  I usually say we all need to warm up myself included, once we get started everyone is totally relaxed and at ease and then I don’t want to stop shooting.  We just need that time for everyone to become aquatinted and comfortable with each other which really took no time in this case.  Chris and Lindsey were so easy going and open to whatever I suggested that it truly was a pleasure. Now on to Owen, well just look at the photos they will speak for themselves.  Owen was I believe about 6 weeks when we took these photos and certainly past the age of doing posed newborn shots.  However the lifestyle approach is a perfect way to capture them at such a young age but an even nicer way to show the love and joy you share when you take your new baby home.  Chris and Lindsey thank you so much for having me in your beautiful home and capturing these memories for you.  I should add that I know Chris was not entirely sold on the idea, but once he saw the photos he said to me they are so much better than I expected.  So thank you Chris and you are certainly like the majority of men out there in not being a fan of the whole photo shoot thing ( I get it ) its not a mans thing for sure.  I will say that there is not too many out there that once they see the photos are not really glad they did it!  Trust me these moments will become priceless as Owen grows up.  Now onto the good stuff!!when Owen grows up.
