Pretty Posey | My Beautiful Grand Daughter

Again how does one find the words to describe such an incredible love! Of course I knew I would love and adore this little person but nothing prepared me for how incredible it really is.  So many grandparents out there have told me there is nothing like it, and you just wait!  but of course until she actually arrived it was a love I didn’t know.  From the moment I saw her little head emerge into the world something came over me.  That moment will forever be etched into my soul. I still think about how incredible it was to be a part of such a miracle. So of course the photo shoot was commenced when she was only 5 days old.  We really had no idea on what exactly we were doing because we didn’t know if we were getting a boy or a girl.  I did however have the most adorable hat made for her but I added the flowers once our little girl was confirmed.  I guess you will see a theme through most of her photos.  Flowers.  Yes the meaning of Posey is ” A bunch of flowers”  She certainly is a flower who has made my heart bloom with a new love.  I have to say I photograph so many babies but I was almost slightly nervous for hers, maybe cause I just wanted them to be perfect.  Perfect she was!  not a peep from her, she just let her Nan do her thing.  I of course could have photographed her all day long, but my house was a steady stream of visitors waiting to see the little doll.  We actually didn’t finish them all in the first day, the very last set of photos were taken at 11 days old.  She was still a trooper for those as well.  Of course this will not be the last of Posey’s Photoshoots, we have one planned for each month throughout her first year of life.  I am tickled pink that I have been blessed with the gift to preserve these moments.   I am sure I will be making many Posey posts here, so I will apologize in advance for being one of those grandparents.  However I really can’t help myself!
