I love meeting new families especially ones as sweet as this family! They were visiting for a family reunion and wanted to capture some of Cape Breton Beauty to take back home with them. I sometimes stress over family pictures and getting everything just right, but I really feel that attitude needs to be thrown out the window. Some of the best captures are when you just let families be families. We are not picture perfect families so to expect that in a photograph is crazy! The best photograph in my opinion is at the end of this post, when I was actually preparing to wrap up and then something magic happened! I saw dad and the kids just standing out in the water watching the ferry pass by and mom joined them and voila !! There was our money shot and not even a face in the shot! Thanks guys for choosing me to capture your beautiful family! I really enjoyed meeting all of you.
