There’s no better feeling than walking away from a session and thinking “That was my all time favourite shoot!”. Lucky for us we have been finding ourselves saying that after every one of our senior sessions this year. It seems as if each girl we photograph always has something unique to bring to the table that sets their session apart from the rest (constant creative high for us). It’s pretty obvious that we didn’t just randomly photograph Emily with a horse because it looked cool, you can tell at first glance that she has a deep love for her horses. We have both been wanting to do a session with a horse and boy are we glad we waited for someone who actually rides horses rather than just setting something up to make a shoot look cool. Looking back on these photos and seeing the genuine connection Emily has with these beautiful animals, mocking it would have been like sticking two people together who didn’t know each other and telling them to pretend they are in love. Seriously though, am I right?

Emily’s sweet quiet manner was so effortless to photograph and it’s neat that you can see her personality coming through her images. She was also up for absolutely anything we suggested and we believe that is another factor that contributes to excellent images. Sometimes it can be hard to see someone else’s vision so we are beyond thankful for amazing clients like Emily who put all of their trust in our opinions and creative abilities. We are so amped about this session, Emily you are beyond stunning and such a pleasure to work with!

But seriously, how cool is it that she gets to keep these images forever? We wouldn’t be lying if we said we wish we could peak into the future just to see how much more valuable these precious memories and photographs will become to each of our clients. Thank you, thank you, thank you Emily for allowing us to capture your beauty and of course your final year and a high school student… We had a blast!
