It was a mix between the most perfect view, incredible details a killer dance party and the love shared between these two that made this day so different from every other wedding. Deanna had been asking me all day “Do you think everything is going to look good?”. I didn’t even have to question Dea’s impeccable taste, I knew it was going to be perfect. Of course there were some bumps along the way like having five bridesmaid dresses not fit the night before the wedding, but Dea just smiled and said “It’s okay, they can just wear their prettiest dresses!”. This was a true testament of how at the end of the day, Deanna was just so darn happy to be marrying Pat. As much as she wanted everything to be perfect, it wouldn’t have mattered if everything fell apart or if we were bombarded with a hurricane, she still would have been smiling. Oh and Patrick, it was clear by the grin on his face that he was just as excited to be marrying his best friend.
I met Deanna quite a few years ago at camp when she was my counsellor, I remember her talking about her future husband and how she knew God already had someone picked for her… I never would have imagined that this man would be Patrick, but I know without a doubt that they are perfect for each other! I could go on and on about how much fun I had during this weekend but I will let the pictures speak for themselves…
