Brittany + Mike | Wedding | By Michelle

I am kicking off my first wedding of 2015 in January!  Not your typical wedding season.  Brittany has had a vision since she was a young girl of a winter wedding!  you know those pretty snow capped trees, snow falling softly on pink rosey cheeks. you get the picture!  Well none of what Brittany visioned happened.  Instead we got torrential rain and heavy gusts of wind all day long.  I have to be honest I was freaking out a lil bit, cause I secretly shared in the exact vision Brittany had.  I knew that with our Cape Breton weather anything could happen.  So we left the church to a location I had just heard about that morning. I had no clue what this spot looked like, but trusted in a fellow photographers vision.( thanks Ethan and Chelsea) Brittany and Mike were game for whatever and put their trust in me.  I knew however Brittany was a little disheartened that we were not going to be able to capture anything that she envisioned.  I also felt disheartened!  I made a proposal to Them, lets enjoy the day and we will go back out for a day after session. Something I actually would love to do on a more regular basis.  Enjoy your day, celebrate with family and friends.  No timeline stress, No running short on daylight , No worries about getting your dress dirty and the list goes on.  Instead we have a very stress free couple and photographer who is now able to really capture some moments and be able to travel to multiple locations that don’t have to be only 10 mins away from your ceremony location.  Its been a hard sell!  However not for Brittany and Mike we were all on the same page.  Mike I have to hand it to you 3 photoshoots in one week! Brittany I think you got yourself a keeper! yep we shot an engagement, a wedding and a day after session all within a week! I was honoured to have spent so much time with you both. I suppose being soaked by the giant wave on your engagement session was a little sign that you were in for a wet and wild wedding day!   I am going to leave you with what we did capture the day of the wedding. Stay tuned for the day after session.
