I’ve known Emma for years, and it’s mostly memories of her being the little sister that got yelled at all the time. Her sister and I share many high school memories and she’s still such a dear friend to me even though she’s living on the other side of the country. Shooting Emma was quite special and also made me feel a little old. Watching your siblings and friends siblings grow up is like watching your own kids grow up sometimes, and even more crazy when you don’t see them all the time. They literally go from being little children to adults and you’re just like Whoah… Emma is quiet and sweet, in the best kind of way. I love how her shy demeanour seeps through her images and gives them the perfect balance of “I’m all grown up now” but “I’m still a little girl”. Okay did I just quote Britney Spears or what? (Not a girl, not yet a woman)… Sorry not sorry. Seriously though, Emma has grown up to be such a beautiful person. I know that sounds typical and cheesy but it’s the truth.

I loved this session, and more importantly LOVE that she gave me full reign on styling and wardrobe. I even tackled the makeup for this session, not too shabby hey? Thanks Emma for being so fun and easy to work with, you’re the best!
