Where do I even start with this one!  Wow what an experience from start to finish this one was truly inspiring for me, from the 360 degree view of palms, turquoise tropical waters,  details to die for and not to mention one hot couple who were madly in love with each other.  To be a part of something so amazing is quite hard to put into words.  To have a couple trust you and love your work enough to take you and your second photographer to paradise for a week is so very humbling.

I had the pleasure of working and meeting the lovely Leslie Estelle of http://www.leslieestellephotography.com to say she was a perfect fit would be an understatement.  I have to be honest here we had some travel issues in regards to my who would be travelling with me to second shoot, I had never met Leslie before nor worked with her but within our first hour of being together it was quite clear she was meant to be with us and we all instantly fell in love with her.  Its quite amazing how you can only spend a week with someone but its like you have known each other a lifetime and now consider her to be a part of the fam.

We stayed at Dreams resort in Punta Cana however the wedding took place off resort at a quaint little beach hut/restaurant/bar it was the perfect spot for a tropical wedding.  Even a 10 min downpour during the ceremony could kill our buzz.  I was truly inspired by everything about this wedding and really couldn’t have imagined a better way to kick off my 2016 wedding season.  Leslie and I truly had the best day capturing this beach wedding so much so we actually ended our night with the bride on the dance floor.  There is a first time for everything!  Maria said the day after the wedding ” you know it was a good day when your photographers are crying and and get up on the dance floor with you ”  Yes Maria you are so right cause that certainly doesn’t happen on a regular basis.
