Conor + Megan | Engagement | By Brittany

I have known Megan for quite a few years now, and over the years I heard so much about this guy named Conor who Megan used to date. Before I even met Conor I knew that him and Megan had something really special by the way she talked about their relationship. I knew who ever Megan was going to marry someday would have to be extra special, and even though I am 100% positive she could have had the opportunity to have ANY guy… She isn’t the type of girl who just settles for any guy. When I was living away it came to my attention that Megan was back with this mysterious Conor fella. Even though I didn’t know much about the relationship, I thought “Well that makes sense”.

So this past summer on a beautiful August day, at the prettiest beach… Conor popped the question. A lot of our friends were there since we had a wedding that weekend in Ingonish, so I had showed up RIGHT after they left. Before this, I had finally met Conor the day before at the wedding I was shooting! It was one of those engagements that when you find out you can’t help but feel warm and happy on the inside. Megan is a top notch friend, daughter, sister and now auntie. She has a genuine spirit, that is contagious and I know she is always there for people when they need her. Conor on the other hand, is without a doubt the perfect gentlemen. He says to me before we had our engagement session “You can do whatever you want, just tell me what to do… As long as Megan is happy!”. I know he meant that because after the first two hours of shooting in the -6 degree weather, Megan and I decided it was necessary that we extended the shoot to a second day. We weren’t able to fit in all the cute outfits Meg had picked out so he happily agreed to a second day of shooting. I have to say, most guys are not okay with this and tend to complain the whole time. Not Conor, he was a true champ and team player and I know these qualities will serve him well when he becomes a husband. I couldn’t be more pleased with this session, and this beautiful couple I get to call my friends. Can’t wait for the big day!
