A day in the life is a small project that basically entails me taking my camera with me everywhere, all day and documenting all of the day’s events. I decided to pre do mine on New Years Eve otherwise any other day would have consisted of me napping at my in laws or working on my computer. This day was filled with lots of food, friends family and babies!
My morning started with us sleeping in and being late for the New Years Eve brunch at Vicki’s. I can always count on Timber taking longer to get ready than I do.

Just taking selfies while waiting for my slow hubby… Loving all my new maternity clothes! I said today if I had of known I would get so many new clothes I would have gotten pregnant a while ago 😉

This one is for Sandra… I actually don’t like this dog but he is always a part of my day when living in the MacLeod Res.

There really is full time laundry service at Sandra’s!

Finally made it to Vicki’s, which was overflowing with super cute children and babies!

I always look forward to seeing this little fashionista at family functions… Isn’t she the sweetest?

Then there are these two beautiful people, who I’ve been trying to photograph for a few months now. Finally had them in the right place at the right time and so thankful I was able to capture their love.

Back to me downing some OJ, and this sweet photo of my niece Sadie who insisted she wear my pretty necklace.

Danielle surprised everyone with her stylin’ new haircut! I was so happy to be able to capture everyone’s reactions, especially her little guy who did a triple take and then jumped up and said “Wow momma I like it!! It looks cool.”

Xander didn’t quite have the same reaction as Brock!

The only part of my day I didn’t document was when Leigh-Anne and I hit up target for some $5 deals. I had good intentions by bringing my camera into target but got too distracted and didn’t realize I didn’t document anything till I left. Then I had a glorious nap with Sadie… Okay I napped and she watched Barney. Next stop, Sandra and David’s aka my temporary home.

You know you’re a mom-to-be when you stay in and play games on New Years because you are too tired to do anything else… Although I am never too tired to dress up that’s for sure. It was definitely a fun night though just not our typical New Years Eve!

I made Leigh get pretty with me 😉

It was 11:55, we were all happily playing a fun game of telephone pictionary and someone says “It’s 11:55!”. Leigh-Anne replies, “Yay! That means we can all go to bed!”. And so we did!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
FIN.
