30 Days of Hind Hart | Personal post by Michelle | Day 2

So since we just finished up with the holidays, I am going to throw out some of my own personal holiday love!

We changed up our normal traditions on things this year due to my husband Tony having to work on Christmas day. Christmas day for us was celebrated on Christmas eve and we had a little family visiting at my in laws, came home had our big turkey dinner and opened presents.  Then came the time for some Holiday Cheer when our extended family of Kari, Chris, Alma and Bobby popped in for a visit.  We exchanged our gifts and as always some laughs.  I have to say it was pretty nice to sleep in on Christmas Morning and lounge around in my Christmas pj’s while I waited to have dinner at the Yorke residence.  We later had the annual Christmas party there as well, which was another fun filled night!  I know next Christmas is going to be quite different for us and one I really can’t wait for. With the arrival of our grandchild in May it will certainly  bring some of that Christmas magic back!  (We already bought stuff for him/her this Christmas, so you can imagine our level of excitement next year).  We ended the last day of 2013 with an awesome dinner at Kiju’s and back to my place for a good ol’ kitchen party!  I always say it doesn’t matter where you go, if you are among the company of loved ones you are guaranteed to have a blast which is totally what we did!

So goodbye to 2013…I am thrilled to see what 2014 has in store for us.  I will leave you with a glimpse of some of my holiday faves.
