I think I am finally really starting to dig this wedding gig!  Don’t get me wrong I always enjoy shooting my weddings, but I carry a certain amount of anxiety with them all!  I have been doing them now for a number of years and still can’t shake the jitters, I wake up in the morning and  have the worst case of nervous energy!  Maybe that is normal and I guess because I really care about doing a good job!  I mean these couples are putting their complete trust in me to capture one of the most intimate days of their lives.  Something seemed to change for me with the last two weddings I shot!  I really  just relaxed and went with it!  totally enjoyed my day and almost found a new love in what I am doing.  Now with that being said I really believe that my couples play a huge role in that.  Melissa and Joey live in Alberta so I didn’t actually get to meet up with them until days before their wedding.  I knew in that first meeting they were super laid back and would be wonderful to work with.  What I didn’t know was that they were going to set my camera on fire!!  I mean the chemistry these two had, its only something you wish all of your couples had.  They were so comfortable in front of my lens and just really let their love for one another shine through.  Which is exactly what you see when you look at these photos.  I have to add that I had my youngest daughter Lakyn working with me on this one, this was her first wedding with me. She will be my sidekick all summer, and I can’t tell you how awesome it is to have someone work a wedding day with you.  Even sweeter that its my daughter, seems this is really becoming a family affair!  Lets get to the good stuff and see some of the photos we made.  Trust me there are so many more, it was pretty hard trying to even choose what to blog.  Thanks Melissa and Joey, I will be waiting on the babies.
