So I have been moving at a turtles pace on my weddings this year, but I am taking on the motto of slow and steady wins the race! From the day I met these two for their engagement session I knew they would be a true pleasure to work with and they certainly didn’t disappoint. Walking into Sally’s family home there was a strong sense of family, steeped in tradition. From the land to the home it gave an instant feeling of comfort! Sally’s grandparents empty home sits next-door and was where we took all of their photos, it was really the perfect spot and it had such a strong connection for them. We even attempted to recreate a particular wedding photo from her grandparents wedding day! ( not quite sure if I nailed it or not but it is certainly a version of it) I think I could have shot there all day long, I almost felt at home in a strange way! I think I am a sucker for anything that has history and it was an honour to help preserve some history for Sally and Jordan. Its very funny cause Sally didn’t say much to me about her grandmother who is no longer living, but I knew she played a very important role that day! Her spirit was present in so many aspects of your day! So here is some highlights of your awesome day!
