Swooning over this one! I mean it really doesn’t get much better than this! I am all about thinking outside of the box! I will admit things can sometimes be pretty predictable with weddings. So when I have a bride that wants to shake things up a bit it really gets me excited! I knew this was gonna be an amazing wedding. Rachel corresponded with me all year on details and I loved it! It really made me feel like such an important part of their day and made me feel pretty good that she valued my opinion on things, not to mention it really made for a pretty relaxing day when you really get to know your brides. The two of them were gems, they have been together since they were teenagers and their love was still as new and pure as if they were only 16! I have to say it was pretty refreshing to see! Rachel is a lover of horses and when she told me she would be riding down to her beautiful outdoor ceremony location on one I was elated! I don’t always know where to take my couples and try my best to make each and every wedding as unique as I possibly can. I have been eyeballing a particular property all summer and Rachel and Emmer were my last wedding of the season, So I decided to knock on someones door and see if we could shoot on their land. To say we were meant to shoot here was an understatement. Upon talking to the owner he told me they had chickens ( GASP) I knew Rachel would be so up for this! I think he thought I was a lil off my rocker insisting to please don’t cut your grass, just leave everything as is. When we arrived to shoot, to our surprise was an amazing old car there for us to use( no clue what kind) just knew it was an antique and as cool as heck!
